Are you ready to take your learning beyond the classroom and make a real impact in communities abroad?
The Centre for Integral Learning (CITRA), Universiti Malaya, in collaboration with Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) and IEEE IES Indonesia Chapter, invites passionate UM students to join the Global Challengers for an immersive international service-learning experience in Surabaya & Ponorogo, East Java, Indonesia.
Work together with ITS students and community partners to:
Understand and identify real community challenges.
Co-create practical and innovative solutions.
Apply knowledge and skills to address community needs.
Create measurable impact through technology, education and socio-economic innovation.
Collaborate virtually with ITS and community partners from October 2026 onwards.
PROGRAMME PHASES
Phase 1: Online & Physical Pre-Travel Workshops and Meetings
October – November 2026
Phase 2: Physical Field Deployment Abroad
29 November – 4 December 2026
Surabaya & Ponorogo, East Java, Indonesia
Applicants must be able to commit to both phases of the programme.
