11 February 2026 – The Centre for Integral Learning (CITRA) successfully organised ELITE CONNECTS, an engagement and appreciation session with the Universiti Malaya Management, held at the Tan Sri Prof. Ahmad Ibrahim Law Library, Universiti Malaya, from 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.
This programme is an initiative under the portfolio of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic & International), aimed at strengthening the relationship between the university management and the ELITE community of Universiti Malaya. The session provided participants with an opportunity to interact more closely in an open and meaningful setting with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor(Academic & International).
ELITE CONNECTS is designed as a series of continuous engagement sessions, taking into consideration the varying commitments of ELITE Fellows who may not be able to attend at the same time. Through this series-based approach, CITRA UM remains committed to ensuring that more ELITE members have the opportunity to participate in constructive dialogue with the university management.
The initiative received very positive feedback from participants. Many ELITE Fellows expressed their excitement about the opportunity to network with one another and broaden potential strategic partnerships. Some of them are also alumni of Universiti Malaya who view this platform as a meaningful avenue to contribute their expertise and experience back to their alma mater.
Special appreciation is extended to Prof. Dr. Yvonne Lim Ai Lian, Associate Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International), for her presence and for officiating the ceremony. Sincere thanks are also conveyed to the CITRA team, especially Dr. Mozard Mohtar, Head of the Industrial Training and ELITE Network Division, for the successful organisation of ELITE CONNECTS.
The organisation of ELITE CONNECTS reflects the continued commitment of CITRA UM and the university management in fostering openness, appreciation, and meaningful dialogue, ultimately strengthening professional networks and the spirit of collegiality within the Universiti Malaya community.
