The Centre for Integral Learning (CITRA), Universiti Malaya, hosted the Letter of Intent (LOI) Signing Ceremony between CITRA, Universiti Malaya and Chiang Mai University (CMU), Thailand on 11 August 2026 at the Court Room, Chancellery, Universiti Malaya.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of Prof. Dr. Yvonne Lim Ai Lian, Associate Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International), Universiti Malaya. CITRA extends its sincere appreciation and gratitude to Prof. Dr. Yvonne Lim Ai Lian for her presence and support of this significant occasion. Also in attendance were Prof. Ts. Dr. Sri Devi Ravana, Director of CITRA, together with the Heads of Divisions and staff of CITRA, whose commitment, cooperation and collective efforts contributed to the successful organisation of the ceremony. The event was further honoured by the presence of the delegation from Chiang Mai University (CMU), Thailand.
The LOI signing marks an important milestone in strengthening academic and international collaboration between Universiti Malaya and Chiang Mai University. The collaboration is expected to create opportunities for academic engagement, knowledge exchange, educational initiatives and the development of international academic networks.
Through the signing of the LOI, both institutions seek to explore potential areas of collaboration that will benefit academic staff and students, while further strengthening the strategic relationship between Universiti Malaya and Chiang Mai University.
CITRA, Universiti Malaya, extends its appreciation to Chiang Mai University for its commitment and willingness to establish this strategic collaboration. It is hoped that this partnership will continue to grow and lead to meaningful academic initiatives and opportunities for both institutions in the future.
