20 January 2026 - University of Malaya (UM) has formalised a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Embedded LLM Pte. Ltd. (LLM) in an official signing ceremony held at the Court Room, University of Malaya, on 20 January 2026.
The MoU marks the establishment of a strategic collaboration between both parties aimed at strengthening partnerships and fostering meaningful engagement in the areas of education, research, innovation, and technology development.
The ceremony commenced with a welcoming address by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International), University of Malaya, followed by a speech from a representative of Embedded LLM Pte. Ltd. The highlight of the event was the signing of the MoU documents and the exchange of souvenirs as a symbol of mutual commitment.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of Prof. Dr. Yvonne Lim Ai Lian, Associate Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International), University of Malaya, together with invited guests from both institutions.
This collaboration is expected to create opportunities for joint research initiatives, talent development programmes, knowledge exchange, and innovation-driven activities in support of University of Malaya’s digital transformation agenda and academic excellence.
