On Tuesday, 2 September 2025, CITRA UM successfully conducted a one-day training course entitled “Upskilling Staff CITRA using Canva & Generative AI”, which ran from 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
The course was designed to equip CITRA staff with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in using Canva, a creative design tool, and Generative AI, an emerging technology that enhances efficiency in producing digital content.
Throughout the sessions, participants explored innovative approaches to creating posters, banners, and promotional materials, while also learning how Generative AI can be applied to content ideation, text generation, and workflow improvement. The training combined demonstrations, guided exercises, and real-world applications to ensure staff could directly apply the skills in their daily work.
This program reflects CITRA UM’s continuous commitment to empowering its staff with up-to-date digital skills, fostering creativity, and embracing technological advancement in line with the university’s vision for innovation and excellence.
